How Much is Your Freedom Worth? 1 of 2 Articles

Editor’s Introduction:  “As we enter the year 2022, never has there been more uncertainty about what the New Year holds for us”  This is one of two articles about Freedom, for those want it and for those who have it”

“This should be a time when people and their families are looking forward and not looking back, but looking back they are, because in their rear-view mirror is the looming spectre of what ‘The Science’ calls COVID and what we know as the lurgy.”

“To discuss this further our worldly correspondent, Juan Angalessi, the man who exposes the misleading political narrative of government and those who spin it, in his column,”  ‘Never mind the patter, here is what matters.’ The Editor.

“The last two years have seen the UK government impose tyrannical Lockdowns with very little pushback from a Populus of over 40 million adults, in fact, the majority have been apathetic and all too willing to surrender their freedoms, and no doubt will do likewise in 2022 when the United Kingdom’s puppet governments receive their ‘global orders’ to implement ‘circuit-breaker’ lockdowns.  2022 will see the Great Resetting New World Order upping their game and as the saying goes, “You aint seen nothing yet.”

“This year the government hopes to introduce two Bills in to law over at the ‘swamp.”  They are:

  • The police Bill, which seeks to change your right to lawfully protest today, to be an unlawful one tomorrow (by no means is this  exhaustive).
  • The Nationality & Borders Bill.

“Red Brick has already provided some input re these proposed Bills and if you are not frightened by the consequences should they ever be enacted in to law, no, not for you, but for your children, all children, then you should be, because if you sit back and do nothing, this will be your legacy and their future.”

“Here is a link to George Monbiot’s 20-minute video (paste the link below etc.).  The video has a comment written under it:  “Boris Johnson is the most dangerous Prime Minister we’ve had in the entire democratic era.”

NOTE:  Red Brick has already featured this link in one of our most recent articles:  FUZZY DUCK Act 3 – 2022 AD – Will Boris Prince Or Puppet?

“If Red Brick for Truth was to feature George Monbiot’s same article one hundred times or more, it might never be enough to wake people up.”

“So as the citizens of the United Kingdom sit back waiting for more ‘jabby-jabby,’ here are two true to life articles I found on the internet, which you ‘normies’ out there might want to get your heads around.”

Both articles are credited to the relevant journos and publishers, with links to their sites included.”

“Red Brick in no way seeks to receive any accreditation for the following two articles, but we do seek to find inspiration from them, and our hope is that you do too, because whilst you do still have your freedom ask yourself this:  “How much is my freedom worth?”  Here is the first article by The Guardian, whose articles we have featured several times already on this site and we applaud their work.”

The disappeared: faces of human rights activists China wants to silence (go to the site via the link to see the faces).  Chinese security forces have launched an unprecedented crackdown on the country’s human rights movement.  More than 300 people have been interrogated or detained.

Today (2016), almost a year since that crackdown began, more than 20 lawyers and activists remain in custody facing political subversion charges (end of introduction to this article).

“Click on the link below to access the full article and access the photographs of these selfless humanitarians, as well as being able to read profiles”.

Editor:  “At the time of writing the Guardian pointed out that sixteen of these people remain in some form of detention.”

“And here is the second article from a website we are pleased to direct you to”:  https://listverse.com

“This true and harrowing story occurred in 1989 when many of our readers may not have been born.  Even today it is hard to take in the enormity of the amount of ‘evil’ that took place in China during 1989, and for what?  Because these young people, students who wanted to make the world a fairer place, a safer place, wanted the very thing that young people of similar ages in the United Kingdom, Europe and the United States of America are freely giving up today:  Their Freedom.”

This article is one of ten profiles featured on the LISTVERSE website under the heading:  10 People You’ve Never Heard Of Who Changed The World.  The following is article seven entitled:  Tank Man.

In 1989, a democracy movement, comprised mostly of students, occupied Beijing’s Tiananmen Square to demonstrate for political change. But on 4th June, the army moved in.

The Chinese government ordered the massacre of the students. It is estimated that over 10,000 protestors were killed that day in an orgy of violence that saw soldiers bayonetting, shooting, and driving over young students in their armoured personnel carriers.  The campaign for democracy was over.

The human spirit is, however, indomitable. On June 5, as a line of tanks was rolling into Tiananmen Square once more, one lone protestor, carrying nothing but a shopping bag, walked in front of the lead tank to block its path. The tank tried to move around him. Tank man blocked its path again. And again. And again. Eventually, the tanks switched off their engines, and the protestor climbed onto a tank to talk to the soldiers.

The standoff only ended when the man was pulled away from the tank and disappeared into the crowd.  The man has never been identified, and no one knows whether the hands that pulled him away were Chinese police or friends concerned for his safety.

Coverage of the incident in China was heavily censored, and not many people there remember it today.  But, whether he knows it or not, the image of Tank Man facing down a line of tanks has become one of the most iconic symbols of resistance in the world, and hopefully one day, he will be able to see it, too (end of article).

“There are so many articles to be found on the internet which claim to refute or indeed confirm the amount of innocent people who were killed at Tiananmen Square in 1989, however, do your own research to find out what it was that inspired such, young, hopeful and educated people to support a cause, which they must have previously decided was a cause worth dying for:  Freedom and Democracy.”

“Lastly, I asked you, the reader, to ask yourself this question earlier: :  “How much is my freedom worth?”  First of all, this was not a rhetorical question, although it should have been, given that the answer is so obvious.  However, for those who do not know the answer or for those who have forgotten, I will tell you, It is PRICELESS!!!”

The second and last article will be titled: ‘And Then They Came For Me.’

God bless and rest in peace to all those who died.

Juan Angalessi and the Editor for Red Brick Truth.
