COVID Government Narrative v Readers Comments

Here is an article by our very own Rusty Retton, Political Analyst and Opinionizer. This is a headline from an article in the Mail Online dated Tuesday, Jan 10th 2023. The article refers to a recent speech and comments made by Andrew Bridgen (AB), Member of Parliament for North-West Leicestershire. Mr Bridgen has represented his constituents since 2010.

The Rt Hon AB stood up in the House of Commons during December 2022 and made a speech re COVID, during which he claimed the COVID vaccines were causing severe injuries.

Red Brick has provided a snapshot from the article, which we would recommend you read. Red Brick are not criticising the article or any of its contents, but we are seeking to highlight the comments left by readers in response to the Daily Mail article:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-11595547/Prestigious-medical-journal-slams-Tory-MP-Andrew-Bridgen-peddling-misleading-Covid-jab-claims.html

Daily Mail: ‘A Tory MP was today criticised for peddling ‘misleading’ claims about Covid jabs on social media. Andrew Bridgen, who represents Northwest Leicestershire, tweeted about an essay in a publication affiliated to the prestigious British Medical Journal.’

Here is the tweet made by AB:

The Daily Mail included several points creditied to AB, which I have paraphrased including:
⦁ The British Medical Journal’s essay backed up evidence re his (AB) own views.
⦁ Jabs offer little benefit to younger people.
⦁ Younger people face a tiny threat from the virus.

Apparently, the tweet by AB had almost 2 million views, although the BBC might say that these views were only a few thousand, as was reported by them when 100,000’s of UK citizens during 2021, people they labelled as ‘Anti Vaxxers,’ marched through the UK in protest against the ‘jab,’ a jab which contained ‘goodness knows what?’

Below are the most recent comments left by members of the public, which the Daily Mail included in its link to their website. The comments make interesting reading, because despite the message being conveyed by the UK governemnt that the vaccines are safe, it is clear that there is a gap between the establishment’s message and the public’s perception, or should I say, the sheeple’s perception re the ‘efficacy and safety’ of the ‘Ja’aaaab?!

It should be said that there have been hundreds of comments left in response to the Daily Mail article, and it should also be said that I have not read any other comments than is stated below, but these were the comments attached to the Mails’ article at the time of my own.

The flavour of this, my own article, may not be a palatable one, that is, if you enjoy what the government is serving you from its daily menu, and has been since COVID hit the ground running along with its bestest mate, Great Reseter. Nevertheless, below are the newest comments to the best of my knowledge and have not been moderated:

Rusty Retton for Red Brick International News Media.
PS. Enjoy the comments – I did.

Scally, Glasgow, United Kingdom: ‘I think we all know by now that the triple jabbed are three times more likely to catch the Wuhan Flu. We also know that for most of us, it is harmless and transient. This experiment has been an abject flop, and sadly there are now tens of thousands of dead people crying for justice because they took it in good faith.’

John MacHarg, Ventura, United States: ‘This article was brought to you by Pfizer.’

Takeitonthechin, Cumbria, United Kingdom: ‘Once upon a time health care adopted the precautionary principle. That was before the MHRA became self-proclaimed enablers rather than gatekeepers. Isn’t that right Ms Raine?’
Mags, Telford, United Kingdom: ‘I am truly comforted by all the comments on here. I thought I was in the minority seeing through the BS.’

Gonzoadrenalin, Adelaide, Australia: ‘What about the latest study on IgG4 switching? IgG4 is now being recruited by the vaccinated. IgG4 is for allergies and is not designed to neutralize Covid. Good luck with that! What about the utter Cd34+ stem cell destruction within the UBC of pregnant women? At least the complicit journalists have also been vaccinated.’

Lisa V. Holcomb, Creswell, United States: ‘Your readers have spoken. Why is it that we have all read the studies and know the statistics, but you, the author of this piece, have not done any background research before writing it? Or is it that Pfizer pays for you to write stories that make those look bad who question the “acceptable narrative”?

Ben Penner, Fort McMurray, Canada: ‘The covid injections kill and maim. Mr. Bridgen is a hero to challenge the narrative!’

Inadequate UK, Beaconsfield, United Kingdom: ‘Mr. Bridgen has been described as an unreliable witness by a High Court Judge. Who would if thought a Brexiter & bandwagon jumper would do such a thing?’

Garth70, South of England, United Kingdom: ‘They actually don’t, or there would be lots of evidence supporting that claim. After billions of vaccinations, don’t you think we’d be seeing some of your claims in real life?’

Eveknewbest, Cambridge, United Kingdom: ‘It was reported in the US that 40% of medical care workers were NOT vaccinated. What does THAT tell you? These are the very people who you would think could not WAIT to get the vaccine.’

Garth70, South of England, United Kingdom: ‘They’re not all educated in medical science, just lackeys doing as their told. Probably Trump supporters and republican – two thirds of all covid deaths were republicans. America has over a million covid deaths right now. All the studies and evidence shows that you are far safer getting vaccinated than not.’

Vax aka a bioweapon, London, United Kingdom: ‘Do not give this disgusting “organisation” money let them go bust. They will after Nuremberg 2!’

Takeitonthechin, Cumbria, United Kingdom: ‘Wall Street Journal. Are the vaccines destroying immune systems? Are the vaccines causing the variants? Keep up DM.’

Garth70, South of England, United Kingdom: ‘The answer is no to both those questions, and there is no evidence to suggest otherwise. Perhaps that’s why it’s not being covered by responsible reporting.’
