A Pandemic tabletop exercise in Brussels - 23rd Oct 2022
As a follow up to the 2021 Red Brick article titled, ‘EVENT 201 – I See Morons,’ which is addressed later in the article, Kade Vidic, Truth Reporter for Red Brick International News Group, has returned from his ‘international undercover’ investigations, to bring the ‘Catastrophic Contagion’ 2022 meeting to the peoples’ attention, just in case you missed the last time the ‘usual suspects’ had a bash at running one of these ‘tabletop exercises.’

The Johns Hopkins Centre for Health Security, in partnership with WHO and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, conducted Catastrophic Contagion, a pandemic tabletop exercise at the Grand Challenges Annual Meeting in Brussels, Belgium, on October 23rd of 2022. Here is the link to the Exercise:

This meeting stated on its website:
‘The extraordinary group of participants consisted of 10 current and former Health Ministers and senior public health officials from Senegal, Rwanda, Nigeria, Angola, Liberia, Singapore, India, Germany, as well as Bill Gates, co-chair of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.’
‘The exercise simulated a series of WHO emergency health advisory board meetings addressing a fictional pandemic set in the near future. Participants grappled with how to respond to an epidemic located in one part of the world that then spread rapidly, becoming a pandemic with a higher fatality rate than COVID-19 and disproportionately affecting children and young people.’
‘Participants were challenged to make urgent policy decisions with limited information in the face of uncertainty. Each problem and choice had serious health, economic, and social ramifications.’
On the 10th of January 2023 healthfeedback.org (HF) published the headline:
Simulation Exercises such as “Catastrophic Contagion” are a Normal Part of Pandemic Preparedness. They Don’t Predict Future Pandemics.
The article, opened with the paragraph:
‘On 23 October 2022, the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, together with the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, held a pandemic preparedness training called “Catastrophic Contagion”. This exercise gathered public health officials and past or present health ministers from several countries and assessed how they would respond to a hypothetical rapidly propagating virus.’
The article assessed the claim that the above exercise means: The tabletop exercise, “Catastrophic Contagion,” means that “Bill Gates and WHO have announced when we will see the next pandemic.”
Red Brick note: So, in other words, a person or group of people, were making the claim that the tabletop exercise was more about planning the next pandemic, and not how the organisations could effectively respond to with one.
The HF, in conclusion, found that the above claim was ‘unsupported’ and in the last paragraph of their article stated: ‘In summary, no information indicates that the exercise “Catastrophic Contagion” that took place in October 2022 predicts the nature, place, and date of a future pandemic.’
‘Tabletop exercises are a normal component of pandemic preparedness training and already happened in the past without a similar epidemic breaking out in the real world.’

I respect the HF opinion and I offer no criticism to it.
The problem for me is, we all know what happened when they last practiced this type of exercise, Event 201,’ don’t we, and if you do not, it is all explained in our Red Brick article link below.
