Editor: Red Brick acknowledges the excellent article in the Daily Star newspaper written by Claudia Trotman on 4th February 2023, which we have used as a source of reference.
It is my pleasure to introduce another of our senior reporters from the Red Brick International News Media Group, Serrsule Brandt, who reports on both French and German International Affairs.
Bonjour and Guten Tag. I would like to start by telling you a little bit about my name, although I am sure you might have guessed already. I am the product of a war, or to be more precise, the result of a union between my French grandmother, a farm girl, and German grandfather, a soldier, hence my first and second names.
My family lineage, like many of our subscribers around the world, has often been influenced by war, the most recent of which was World War Two (WW2), hence my name.
My grandparents were brought together by the ‘futility’ of war, and although their union was a happy one, it was nevertheless a highly ‘dangerous liaison,’ a one they had to keep secret throughout WW2 in fear of the people around them, including family and friends, betraying them to the German or French authorities. Because war:
⦁ Fragments our humanity.
⦁ Causes division within our families and their friends.
⦁ Cuts into the very fabric that knits people and their communities together.
They knew from their chance meeting in rural France that they were soul mates, and they could not risk their romance being discovered, so they decided that for the remaining war years, they would have to content themselves with passing glances and carefully worded notes limited to two or three words.
So, you can see how easy it would be for humanity, to fall down the slippery slope towards, inhumanity, because any betrayal of my grandparents could have resulted in their deaths at the hands of their own countrymen.
Although their story is far more complicated than that, I am here to report on what is happening around the world from a European Journalist’s point of view, and I make no excuses or apologies for me being anti-war in all of its forms, so when I read a headline such as this, my heart ached:
I find it incredulous that I am even writing this article, so should every person reading this, or should I say, every person who has the ability to imagine what the horrors of war will bring, and when you think you have that horrifying thought in your head, multiply that thought one thousand-fold and you still won’t even be close to the mark. Now, on with the article.
And here is the harbinger of the news, MP for Bournemouth East, Tobias Ellwood, and already we can see he is kitted up in his mourning dress, so could this be a sign that his speech over at the ‘Swamp’ was more of a timeline of events leading up to an international conflict, a World War to give it its correct title.
Let us now have a look at what he had to say in the Daily Star article written by Claudia Trotman on 4th February 2023:
“We are now at war in Europe. We need to move to a war footing. We are involved in that. We have mobilised our procurement processes, we’re gifting equipment. We need to face Russia directly, rather than leaving Ukraine to do all the work.”
Daily Star www.dailystar.co.uk
So Toby thinks the UK is at war with Russia; I mean Russia for fecks sake, can’t we pick on someone our own size, a country we might be capable of beating at least, just like in the ‘good old days of the Raj,’ when the other side threw mangos at the UK troops, and in return the UK troops mowed them down with gun fire (yes, I was referencing Blackadder series 4 in my sarcasm).
Toblerone also expressed concerns over the state of the British Army, which he said was in a ‘dire state.’ M’mm no shit Sherlock, I will have to look into this, which I will do in article number two.
I do not know whether Tory Boy Tobias has ever found himself surrounded by the sounds of gunfire, bombs dropping, the agonising screams of the injured, or amongst the blood, snots and gore from the dead and dying, but if he had, why would he be so bold about war with another country; it just does not make sense, or does it?
According to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobias_Ellwood#Personal_life he has an ongoing military career: In September 2018, Ellwood announced that he had been promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel as a reservist in the 77th Brigade, based at Denison Barracks, Hermitage, Berkshire, a psychological operations unit responsible for ‘non-lethal’ warfare which disseminates government-friendly podcasts and videos (Wikipedia). Could it be that the Lieutenant Colonel is after ‘tea and medals?’ Again, I hope not.
Anyways, a short quiz to get the blood flowing.
⦁ What do you call it when nations send money in the billions to fund a country at war with another country?
⦁ What do you call it when nations send tanks, missiles and fighter jets to a country at war with another country?
⦁ What do you call it when a nation’s citizens stand by and do nothing, whilst their government supports a country at war with another country?
The answer begins with the letter ‘M’ and it is not within the phrase: ‘Utter Madness,’ which was the most popular answer given by our Red Brick staff, so I thought it best to let someone else explain the answer, someone who has been to war, a man who has had to bear witness to its horrors and live with its consequences; God bless you Harry Patch.
Harry went to war so that future generations would not have to, or that is how it should have been, and it would have been this way, but for the greed of people with whom he placed his trust, because these people at the highest and most visible levels within our society, have forgotten who they are actually supposed to be working for.
Who in their right mind wants to see their family members being sent to be killed fighting for a globalist cause, a cause selectively justified and explained to them through the propaganda churned out by globalist owned governments and mainstream media sources, because I don’t, and I certainly do not remember ‘ticking’ the box on the ballot sheet under the heading: You OK if the UK and its mates do fisticuffs with a few Reds?
As hard as it is to believe, some people must be away with the fairies to sponsor the UK being involved in World War Three, if Tobias Ellwood’s words are to be believed.
So, Tobias, I assume you will be at the front-line going toe to toe with ‘Ivan the Bear,’ having dusted off the ancestral family sword and salivating at the thought of charging ‘into the valley of death,’ perhaps? I hope not.
After thousands of years of war we would think that the people behind these wars would have had enough by now, but it is not as simple as ‘throwing the towel in,’ because what is happening now is part of a much bigger, more sinister plan.
If you want to know the answer to, ‘why a war,’ it would be helpful for you to find the answers to the following questions:
⦁ What is it they, the elites, globalists, politicians etc want that I might have to die for.
⦁ Whose war is it exactly.
⦁ Why not “go and fight your own feckin war.”
⦁ Will any of you rear echelon mothers be joining me.
⦁ What will be the ‘outcomes’ for me, my family, etc if I survive.
This is not an exhaustive list, but more of a starting point to do your own research.
Finally, war will see us fighting our fellow human beings, the same human beings we have lived alongside, worked with and watched battle with our domestic and international sports teams on the field of play, the sports fields around the world where both victory and defeat end in handshakes; these are the only types of battle I support and so should any right minded person.
The bloodlines of the elites, globalists, politicians etc have had centuries to get their act together and content themselves with what they have, and should not still be wanting more, however, and in many cases, if not all, there are those whose need to satisfy their eternal greedy appetites, to own everything and everyone not part of their club, to this end they will have no compunction whatsoever in sacrificing the lives of those they consider beneath them.
