Red Brick is saddened to hear about the sudden and unexpected death of local radio icon, Lisa Shaw, who died at Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary on 21 May 2021.
Lisa worked at the BBC Northeast Radio presenting daytime shows. Her death will leave her many listeners devastated. Her warm cheery voice and her natural ability to interact with her audience will be sadly missed.
Lisa had developed severe headaches several days after having received the AstraZeneca jab. She fell seriously ill and was being treated in intensive care for blood clots and bleeding in her head.
Lisa died a week after she received the AstraZeneca vaccine.
We understand her family will be seeking answers as to the circumstances surrounding her death, and to what degree, if any, the AstraZeneca jab played a part in it.
